[Illustration Project: Figure/Ground Book Cover & Spread]

We had to use silhouettes to create a book cover and inside spread for a story of our choice.  I chose Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book".  It seems that recently, I've been on a major Neil Gaiman rampage. This project is from 2 weeks ago.

[Design Tech: Photoshop Portrait ]

Portrait of one of my favourite authors that I did for design tech.  First time I've really used photoshop for something aside from photo editing. :D

I am rather pleased with how it turned out. Yay~

Final project for Nancy's class.
Homage to H.G. Wells's The Time Machine

love him.

Needed one more image to complete the set. -le sigh-

[Time]

Final assignment for Cathy's class, we had to create an photomontage using:

- a digital image
- a scanned texture

- another scanned item
- colour overlay layer

The project had to relate back to time in some sort, sooooooo this is my project.

[Memorial Alley]

Assignment for Kerry.  We had to read an article, then shoot an image that would be used for a magazine spread (that we would design).

Three different images superimposed on top of one another showing three different aspects of my city in regards to the article.

[Magazine Cover]

This assignment for Kerry required us to redesign a magazine cover of our choosing, so I chose to use "Critical Productive" which is (by far) my favourite magazine.  Scholarly, biannual and overall, intellectual while appealing to the masses.  It is a good read if you can find it. :)

I chose to use a recognisable cityscape and pair it with a graph of population increase starting in 1968 to relate back to one of the main themes of the articles.  If I was going to continue working on this however, I would like to use an American city with statistics from that geographical region, or Mexico city, just to ensure symbioticism.
